| Praise With such high-level playing and conducting, we will no doubt be hearing again from the Hingham Symphony - Boston Globe From the very first chord, the orchestra was utterly unified intone and timing, displaying a combination of power and control that charged every note with just the right amount of energy. In a 53-minute work of enormous scope and range (Berlioz' Symphonie fantastique), Kim maintained an unshakably coherent line, leading the orchestra and audience through an emotional minefield with absolute confidence. The audience showed by vigorous applause its enjoyment of this seldom heard piece, performed with such unpretentious enthusiasm and undoubted skill. - Patriot Ledger |
